Return to a house south of Pekin

On Tuesday Oct.20, 2009 I was called to a house just south of Pekin. I took the members of Team CPI with me that could make it on such short notice. The man who called me had just purchased a home and was not even moved in yet. He was told before he bought the house that it was haunted. According to his source, a woman had hung herself in the house but never left.

When we arrived at the house I was surprised to realize that I had been there before. Years ago I helped the spirit of an elderly man move on in the same house!

The new owner of the house greeted us outside and showed us in. The house was empty as the man said and immediately I felt energy moving around. The man and I went back outside while I set the team loose with their equipment, keeping in contact with 2-way radios.

It wasn’t long before the team started to experience things. The most profound experience was when Terrance came face-to-face with the woman in the house and she mumbled something to him that he could not understand. I went into the house and had everyone assemble in the living room.

With everyone spaced out and staying quiet I began to speak to the woman. Before long I pinpointed her location in one of the bedrooms. The woman was frightened because I could see and hear her, things no one had been able to do since she died. After speaking to her from a distance for a while, I gained enough of her trust to enter the room with her. The woman was standing in the corner watching me with sad brown eyes. She wore a dirty housecoat and her short hair was mussed. She was still frightened, but not of me.

As with a lot of suicide cases, this woman was sure she was going to hell. I explained to her my belief in a loving and forgiving God, one who would not send a person like her to hell; a person suffering from a mental illness so great that she could take her own life. With some hesitation and some tears, the woman accepted my beliefs and went through the light.
